Real places, honest limits.

BitePick first spins a cuisine, then looks for nearby, cuisine-matched places that appear open. Distance and recent repetition influence which result appears first.

Restaurant data

Venue names, coordinates, cuisine tags, addresses and available opening hours come from OpenStreetMap contributors through the Overpass API. Google Maps is opened only for live ratings, photos, directions and final verification; BitePick does not import Google Places data.

Why information may be missing

OpenStreetMap coverage varies by country and neighbourhood. A venue can be missing, miscategorised, or have outdated hours. Always confirm hours and accessibility in the linked map before setting off.

This release is for testing the complete decision flow. Feedback helps us identify regions and cuisines that need better coverage.
